John demanded that Sherlock learn to swim. He was adamant about it, demanding, persistant. So Sherlock relents, learns to swim, and it becomes routine. It becomes a way for Sherlock to unwind and relax. And then Noah appears. No announcement, no precursors, nothing. One day he hadn’t been there, and then the next he was. They hadn’t known it was Noah at the time, of course, but it was him, pretty as you please. Well, not pretty. Not by a long shot, but he’d shown up regardless, indifferent to the danger that his untimely appearance might cause. And once the crew had started noticing him, he began to appear more and more around their new-found home. A most startling pattern.
