The Crimsonaut floats alone in an alien world, the first to do anything. He is the first to breath its acrid skies, even through his filter. He is the first to see the clouds of cerise dust. He is the first to watch the eyes open and close where the outer spiral arms of a galaxy should be. Just a mini character study on the Crimsonaut, because I was feeling inordinately strong emotions about the Mars rover, Oppy, and projected them onto this lil' dude. Decanonized by 21 but I'm still posting it.
