He couldn’t do much, but take the consequences, when even the doctors gave up on him.Everyone would be meeting in Vegas, everyone would be there. He, and by “he” he means Steve, tries to convince Apollo to come, and.. he really doesn’t know what made him agree, but he did. The weird thing is, on the first night in Vegas, he falls asleep faster than he ever did before in his life, and he doesn’t really think about it until it starts happening quite regularly.. Did meeting everyone exhaust him or.. does Steve have a secret that Apollo needs to know about?

Breaking News: Everything is going wrong The culprit was cold and calculating, that much was obvious. And scarily intelligent. Not only had they adapted to an unexpected situation almost instantly, they had seamlessly lied their way into almost getting away with it. Fundy had to be wary and strategize carefully if he wanted to bring them down. ≈Meanwhile≈ “Salim, I am busy.” The small dragon chirped louder and butted his hand insistently against 5up’s hand. He sighed in defeat, smiling softly. “Fine, only for a few minutes though.” A few minutes turned into half an hour until the dragon finally agreed to move down to his lap, allowing 5up to operate the laptop with his left hand while petting with his right.

This is a side story to the 5undy story Never Coming Home (which can be found on my AO3) We all know his story, told time and time again. A tale of Cogchamp, L'Manberg, and reuniting with a friend. Of romance, tragedy, manipulation, and sorrow, of people who didn't know if they might make it past tomorrow. But turn your gaze away from the main character of this tale, back to the land he comes from, down that trail. His best friend waits, striking chords of violin, waiting and crying as the sun sets in. Never coming home, that's what the stars tell him, as he sits and wonders where Fundy might roam. Death strikes him hard, responsibility even harder, and soon he has no strength left to barter. Listen to his tale, now and only now, sung by stricken chords of the violin.Or5up's side of Never Coming Home, that 5undy story I wrote a while ago. If you haven't read Never Coming Home, I suggest you do (but it's not necessary to understand this one) which can be found on my AO3 page. The Other Side focuses mostly on Five's experiences in Cogchamp without Fundy by his side, and how the letters became his coping mechanism. I hope you like it :)
