Vampire!L lawliet x Reader: Lycopene

by Merula_Magpie

You, above all else, are an artist. Artists take interesting things, and translate them into feeling. L is a very, very interesting thing. You must translate him in every sense, so you can feel him. He wants nothing more than to be felt by you. Which...is inconvenient. Because he has a murderer to catch. And you have a society to please. Neither of you are particularly satisfied. You will never be. Not until you are consumed by each other. (Inspired by the opening ficlet)

Romantic deflection is always subconscious, what a pain. Especially when there's only one bed, and you're cuffed together.

American Death Note

by Kehuan

The US-based Netflix Death Note adaptation was bad. But I remain convinced that you could do an entertaining and distinctly localized take on the source material. So, welcome to the lighthearted skeleton of what is effectively Death Note: American Class System Thinkpiece Edition, where Light is a middle-class striver, Mi[s]a would totally Death Note the guy who killed Cecil the Lion, and L is upset about structural injustice. It assumes some loose knowledge of the original story, and none whatsoever of the movie, except that I've used its character names.
