I completely blame the Charley Daniels' Band for this story. This was originally a story written for a Felarya story contest, years and years ago. I didn't end up finishing it in time for me to actually submit it for the contest, but I so thoroughly enjoyed the characters that I decided to finish it anyway. The story plays on a few Felarya tropes in a cheeky fashion, but in a loving way. Sort of. Mostly. I think?
