Nothing changed after Dimitri left Pine Point. The town was still as judgemental as ever, and Lost Lake was still as vast and plentiful for fishing as it always was. Kids still skated down the streets and Momo and Journey still “freestyled” outside of Junkie’s, whatever that meant. Marco’s Pizza still stood where it had for 40 years churning out the same mediocre pizzas and bizarre specials. Roark Romano still had duct tape over his broken car window, and the hockey rink was still frozen.
