What I've got, literally, is five words and some names.What I've got, in proper translation, is a historical analysis of a fictional species.What I've got, ne dai vaakre-drieg, is the story of how a near-annihilated culture built itself back to spit in the face of their oppressors and carve their own happy endings from the tragedy fate sought to force on them.~Or, that time Jakxy got too many feelings about her own freaking character shorthand / conlang, and decided it was necessary to foist it off onto the internet. With the fake historical context and descriptions of the musical traditions surrounding it attached too. (yes I have eleven other works in progress what about it?)

And with a name like Blood Queen, how could such a people be anything but vicious uncaring warriors.That being said, the Blood Queen never actually did announce what her godhood stood for. To think of it, neither did the Phoenix Queen.~~~Or, Sorrel is a god of found-family and apparently everyone was too busy fighting to notice.

All over the various realms, those surviving few Claimed by the previous Queen are slinking out of hiding.Which isn't to say that things are going well for all the remaining Bloodcourt. Take Tala Seabi for example! He's trapped in a realm far from the busy Center where the Queen was crowned, with a Realm-God who fondly recounts hunting his brethren to death! With the Queen so far away, and the closest other Court of Blood silent for years, Tala knows there's no chance of anyone stepping in to save his hide should things start to go wrong. Luckily, Tala has successfully passed himself off as a regular old hybrid. Unfortunately, that's about to change.Or, yet another story on why you don't tempt fate by thinking that you finally have your life in order.
