When Lapis Meets Lava

It has been two weeks since the end of the Infernus battle. As far as Saps knows, everything is at peace now. The war was won, both islands are quiet, and all those who caused chaos lie dead in the ground. A place from which they can never bother anyone again. So tell him why. Why, of all things that could have happened, is his best friend... The same one whose memorial stands in front of Saps house, the same one Saps was sure was dead, now lying half-awake at his doorstep, begging for help? Flux never begs. What happened after Flux "died" in lava during the volcano raid? And how, will Saps deal with it? This fanfic was first written only with the intention to make Flux cry just to later have an excuse to give him comfort with lots of cuddles. But as i keep writing it, it turned into a somewhat sweet comedy with lots of silly fighting and bickering! So i hope you enjoy this small break from all the angst in this fandom and embrace the cuddles, fluff and everything nice (⁠*⁠˘︶ ⁠ ⁠˘⁠*⁠)⁠.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡

Course: POLISCI1000 - Introduction to International Relations Quality: 5.0Difficulty: 3.0Prof Saps is a great lecturer and really good at breaking down the big concepts into something simple to understand, but you get a LOT of interruptions while taking his class. For example, my first day, the ENTIRETY of the engineering and some of the architecture faculty came in to help him... teach our class??? I don’t know, they didn’t really do anything except stand around the room weirdly. I remember one guy even standing behind Prof Saps and leaning on him to fiddle with his laptop? Anyway, if you can get past the interruptions- because Prof Saps ignores them most of the time- it’s a really fun class.Tags: cheerful, funny, lecture heavya story told through glimpses of professor saparata's ratemyprofessor page.

"So hypothetically," starts Mr Saparata, which means it is very real. Micro can only hope the man did not get scammed again. "If one wanted to get divorced, how would they go about that?" What. "You are married?!" He blurts in confusion. "No, not me," makes a face Saparara, before seeing sheer skepticism radiating out of Micro and promptly giving up, "So ehm... He asked me to sign something. And I did.... I just found out now it was a marriage certificate." "Wait, now?" "He is, eh, moving in?" says another man sheepishly. Micro immediately sprints to the front gate. He sees a moving truck and a man in a rich coat ordering people around. As the man turns, he is meet with violet eyes, and he instantly knows that the man in front of him is a fucking scummer. You know like scummer sees a scummer from a far.   Or Canadian cartel tries to help local white man get divorced and accidently hitchhike their way into a holy war.

This event was supposed to be just one of many, you know? Saparata and Fluixon have been world-hopping and participating to all sorts of servers together for years now, but their last adventure, Theria, left one of them too drained to chase adventure again so soon. It's probably the first time in years they go down different paths and Saps naively believed they'd make it work, like they always do, but he should have seen the signs of doom in the way his dearest friend hugged his wings around himself at being told no.

By the third period, the class had succumbed to the slow, syrupy pull of post-lunch drowsiness. Saparata sat with one cheek in his hand, a pen dangling in the other. Technically, he was trying to take notes. Instead, his concentration kept slipping over the words, over their teacher’s monotone voice, and of course, over to one side. To Fluixon, who had fallen asleep exactly ten minutes into the lecture.   or, Fluixon fell asleep in class. Saparata, instead of waking him up or ignoring him, decided to observe.

Was it bad to miss something you never had? Saparata didn’t think so. Or at least, he didn’t want to think so. Thinking of Fuixon as something to have was already bad enough, now that he thought about it, but it didn’t really stop anyone from doing so these days. Not that people wanted to think of him in the first place.
