It’s so overwhelming between all her tracking, and her tasks, and the meetings, but she needs to try.Jacob’s laughter dies down, and they clear their throat, waving their hand dismissively. “Della, I wasn’t there. I got teleported, like, three times this round. I don’t know what you saw, but it wasn’t me.”Della knows they’re lying. She just can’t prove it.
