When Taranza first meets the enigmatic 'future king of Floralia' at age ten, he has no idea how their lives will eventually intertwine.Still, despite coming from different walks of life, the two of them become fast friends. It doesn't matter that he's a commoner and they're a royal. They get each other, and for a duo of misfits that means a lot. The shy outcast and troubled noble decide they'll always stick together... that if no-one else has their backs, at least they'll have each other.A nice thought in theory, but more easily said than done.As the two of them grow, they realize that things aren't as simple as they'd hoped and that not all of their dreams may be able to come true. It's a disheartening wake-up call. Even so, though, they're still certain that they'll never let go of each other— that nothing this world in this world could possibly tear them apart.Which... they have to be right about, don't they?
