He laughs again but this time it’s heavy, fondness, longing… something sad. (why is it always something sad).“No, Powder I always… I always thought you were cool.”“Flatterer.” she flicks an eraser off the table, suddenly finding it a bit hard to look at him. She and Ekko were close (her Ekko, she doesn’t know about this Ekko) since they were kids, nobody had been surprised that she and Ekko had ended up together. Ekko, her Ekko had ended up saying something similar in a roundabout way; that he’d liked her since they were small.
