"But since what happened to you was unprecedented, we're going to be playing it safe and moving you off of homicide, and on to larceny and robberies and partnering you with Officer Miller," Fowler already has his hands up, silencing Gavin's protests. "I would love to put you back on homicide– I need you on homicide, but you need time," Fowler said. Gavin wanted to yell at him. He's been adjusting for a month now.
