i like it when you sleep

by jehoney

It feels uncomfortably intimate: Jug’s always been the observer, the one to be watching from the edge. Watching under the bleachers, watching from the corners of corridors, watching the people watching the movie at the drive in. To look at him like this is a luxury, because awake Jughead would never let Archie’s eyes roam over him the way they do now. archie likes to watch jughead while he sleeps, for he is so beautiful yet so unaware of it

Only Human

by queer_occurrences

“It’s called necrophilia, Reggie,” and this was not going to help Jughead’s public image, because he didn’t even pronounce it 'necrophilia', he pronounced it 'necropheelia', like some sort of college professor, his voice dripping with disdain. “Can you spell it?”The effect was immediate. Reggie, yelling, “C’mere, you little—“, leapt over a couch as though it were a house plant and barreled at Jughead. Archie fell into the game automatically; he’d done this a million times before. Jughead wouldn’t move, he never did, so Archie stepped in to block Reggie’s path.“Boys—“ Veronica’s voice shouted, but no one noticed.Reggie swung a fist, Archie ducked, and—“Reggie!”On the other side of the room, Betty was standing, her hands curled into fists.

Midnight Command

by Kithera

Archie Kennedy has dreams. Sometimes Archie dreams about Horatio. Those dreams are the only time he can, for a little while at least, escape the Spanish prison that has held him for the last two years. Sometimes he dreams of Simpson and, when Archie has those dreams, he wakes up screaming. Tonight his screams woke Hornblower, who has given Archie a very tempting offer to help him get back to sleep.
