There was a time, Jaskier thought distantly, when he wouldn’t have minded this at all.A time when he could simply grin and bear it as his own blood trickled down his chin, as his insides tore themselves apart and knitted themselves back together again, as the body that Jaskier had spent decades inhabiting decided it quite fancied a complete overhaul of everything, and made this known by bleeding Jaskier dry, setting his nerves on fire, and altogether destroying the bard little by little and all at once as his anatomy inched its way, excruciatingly, towards its new shape. There was a time when Jaskier would have toughed it out, for the sake of the people who would be there on the other side, waiting for him, as well as himself. That time had passed, however, long ago.

WangXian reflections on love. Perhaps a bit of indulgence in poetic romance, framed as a loose collection of individual stories posted as chapters so I can keep experimenting with different styles, and also adding all those snippets that don't lend themselves to longer arcs. Each can be read as a standalone story.Romantic m/m intimacy, affection, tenderness; nothing explicit / no technical descriptions. No specific number of chapters - I will just keep adding to this. LWJ hopelessly in love with WWX hopelessly adoring LWJ :-)
Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015)
time doth waste me
by stereokem
[However], a day was a lax measurement. At its core, it was almost entirely arbitrary. Any measurement of time was more or less the same. It described something ephemeral and intangible in quantifiable units, values that could be recorded and plugged into equations. Harry Hart had seen enough to know that time was fickle, tricky and obstinate; it hardly played by the rules except for by accident. It slowed down and sped up as it pleased; it generally marched onward, but there were occasions when it went backward, and even stranger occurrences where it stood completely still. Outside a small church in rural Kentucky, Harry Hart felt time come to halt.
