It's All Just Temporary with a Bit of Necromancy

by TC_Hand

Harry gets his magical inheritance as a Necromancer on his 16th birthday, the first in centuries. Unsure of his future or even who to trust after the Light shuns him, Harry turns to the Dark, the only other side that can assist him in seeking his revenge. However, it's all just temporary. It's just an alliance until his goals are met and then that's it. Just temporary...right?Slight Dumbledore and some Order member bashing. Sane Voldemort but Horcruxes do exist. A Harry/Voldemort but incredibly slow-burn. Not really graphic in deaths at least not yet. If that changes the rating will change.

A Rather Useless Inheritance

by Blood_Stained_Fingers

Being a Parselmouth came with the inherent predisposition to understand snake behaviours and imitate them. It was relieving Harry wasn’t going to kill anyone with venom, nor petrify them with his gaze. But also, somewhat frustrating as it was all completely useless. None of the skills that came with being a Parselmouth would help Harry survive Voldemort. It might, in fact, have the opposite effect. For all Riddle's fury that Harry was the cause of his elder self’s defeat, he was fascinated by the fact Harry was also a Parselmouth. He had grabbed Harry’s face, turning him side to side looking bemusedly enraptured by Harry’s threat display. “At your age, I was imitating much more vicious snakes than this, Harry.” That may have been all well and good, but Harry didn’t feel very vicious. He felt very threatened and in over his head.

A Lynx to the Past

by NicoDiAngeloLover7

Harry wasn't sure what was happening anymore. First he was being excited about watching the Triwizard Tournament and getting to know the other schools during his fourth year at Hogwarts. And now everyone thinks he's been kidnapped, while he's being stuck as a feline. It was official, his luck sucks.

Ignite the Spark

by Angelwithwingsoffire

At 11:59 pm on the night of July 30th in 1994, the wizarding and Muggle worlds were fast asleep, no one knowing what was about to come. In a manor in Wiltshire, a young boy and his parents all slept soundly and peacefully, unaware that his life would be forever changed by morning. In a cave in the moors, a dog slept, curled up tightly against the wet cold of the night. At a castle in Scotland, an old man rested easily, not knowing that all his plans were about to be torn to pieces. Within a tall, teetering, beat-up looking house in Devon seven people were in their beds, but only five of them slept soundly. The final two were wide awake, staring at each other in the darkness, the only ones to feel that something was coming. And at a perfectly normal house in a perfectly normal neighborhood in Surrey slept a perfectly normal husband and wife and their perfectly normal son. But upstairs, in the smallest bedroom, slept a very unordinary boy who was about to be responsible for a very, very extraordinary destiny.
