Tommy looks down, his hands are a mess. Dirt under his nails, a random scrape in his left wrist, and overall muddy hands. He’s been offered gardening gloves before. Regulars would ask him if he wanted them for Christmas or his birthday. Tommy always denied them though, he likes the feeling of the well-worn earth under his fingers.
