Many interviews didn't make the final cut for either the UN Special Report or the Oral History. This is one of those stories. EPCOT was once a cornerstone of pre-war capitalism. Part amusement park, part living advertisement, part World’s Fair, it was the envy of its competitors and a prime vacation spot of tourists worldwide. Today, the affluent lands of Future World and the World Showcase are called a “modern-day Urbino” by those who call the capital city in the former Florida destination their home. When I arrive at the front gates of the former Walt Disney World theme park, I am searched for weapons and other items forbidden to non-residents. Nothing I have is confiscated. The guards are friendly, insisting that it is entirely due to security and that once done, I’ll have free roam of the park. Inside the high walls, I find Oliver Jameson and a long-haired man in a white coat at the single table erected in the Legacy Courtyard. The man leaves nodding and Jameson motions me toward him, this poster of pre-war America: large in the stomach, cocky grin, firearms both at his side and in his lap, idly playing with a mobile phone connected to his white, Apple brand earbuds.

They Who Have All Or
by RosemaryAndTheJack
Princesses, when they lived “Once Upon a Time,” had beautiful golden hair, even the princesses that ran off to fight dragons. Dragons that lived “Once Upon a Time” had scales, breathed fire, and some were evil, but others were polite, and would offer you a cup of tea if they thought you weren't there to try and kill them. In that particular version of “Once Upon a Time,” the Princess befriends the dragon, and brings it home with her to guard the royal treasury. Luna Lovegood doesn't have golden hair; in fact, it's more of a pale, champagne colour if she's being truthful. She figures this doesn't make her a princess, but she does have a dragon of her very own. She thinks maybe this means that she should have the aforementioned dragon guard her treasury. After all, dragons have got to be good with money, since they have so much of it. Luna isn't a fairytale princess, but she does have a dragon that she can bring home for Christmas. The dragon is just happy to be able to have someone to visit for Christmas. A Story In Which Tatiana Lokison lives, and there is a "Happily Ever After."

i want to go into the unknown with you
by ofcomputernerdsandsoufflegirls
Poe did not visit characters at Walt Disney World. It just felt weird to him, a grown ass adult, visiting people just dressed up in costume. He liked riding the rides and eating the food, now that was fun. But characters? Nope. Not what he liked to do. But unfortunately his nephew, Yukito, wanted to visit them so that meant that he had to go with him, his father, and his cousin Dyn. ---When Poe goes along with his cousin and his nephew to meet Elsa in Epcot, he finds that meeting characters isn't that bad as he thought it out to be (it's much much worse than he remembered it because this Elsa is pretty). Instead, he gains a crush.
