He smashed his elbow through the display case. Glass shattered and rained down, scraping his skin. He ignored the sting, snatched the gem, and bolted. Lasers sparked. Drones fired stun blasts—blue streaks that hissed past his heels. The wolf’s claws scraped against the metal flooring, leaving faint gouges. He vaulted a crate. Rolled. Kept running. The wolf slammed into the box with a crash. He skidded past the villain’s break room—then stopped. A coffee machine gleamed in the flickering emergency lights. Stainless steel. Options glowing: espresso, cappuccino, macchiato… maybe enlightenment. He couldn’t just leave it. He yanked it off the counter, cords snapping free, tucked it under his arm. Another stun blast scorched the ground behind him. 『••✎••』 Henry is tasked with infiltrating a high-tech villain's lair to retrieve a priceless artifact. He accidentally activates a self-destruct sequence but somehow manages to escape with the artifact and the villain's coffee machine 『••✎••』 Officially edited and completed as of 9/19/25
