Overwatch (Video Game)
The Smell Before Rain
by 10000animefigure
McCree keeps three pictures beside his bed; the first a newspaper clipping of Overwatch in its prime, the Amari family and him eating watermelon, and a picture of Gabriel Reyes and him standing together grinning. He used to keep a fourth, a portrait of a young Japanese man with cherry blossoms swirling around him. McCree had thrown the picture away years ago thinking he was over the past relationship but finds feelings resurfacing when the subject of the photo reappears one morning in the newly recalled Overwatch meeting room. Now the happy-go-lucky Jesse McCree mopes around the Gibraltar base trying to avoid him but the base is only so big.
