However, Bilbo and Frodo never make it to Rivendell as they are kidnapped by a group of rogue Dwarves. Frodo manages to escape and is found by Bofur who takes the young Hobbit back to Erebor, unaware that the child he's carrying is the nephew of Bilbo Baggins himself and in being related to Bilbo, he is also by law banished from Erebor on pain of death...
