He clears his throat, “It was Gaius for a long time.”The young king relaxes an imperceptible amount, and nods, “He’d have access to everyone, from villager to noble, and friendly relationships with most. Who is it now?”Merlin stares at him, then spreads his palms helplessly, “Me.” Merlin is Camelot’s spymaster and must reveal himself as such to Arthur when he becomes king.
