The Stars Speak Your Name, O, Defier of Fate
by Embershed
You, Charlotte Weaver, are the founder and principal of Dreamweavers’ Academy- the school open to all, regardless of subspecies, status, or wealth, dedicated to fostering the brilliant minds of the generation. However, after your third year of opening the school, the ruler of the Draqonis Empire- Emperor Frostbringer himself- decrees an imperial order to shut it down within three months, or face execution for treason, your life is thrown into turmoil. But one day, a mysterious visitor offers a solution- but only in exchange for admittance into your academy. And this new student to-be might be a little bit more than meets the eye.

Under Her Watchful Gaze
by Embershed
Xenathos, the Old World. Once a place filled with creatures of all kinds, but after humanity swept through, nothing was left but an abandoned surface while those who thought themself "righteous" ascended above the clouds. From the destruction, hatred rose. Left to rot away into dust, the Ones Who Were Left Behind were split between those wanting to drag them back down, to make them suffer for all they had done, and those who hoped, who so desperately wished and strived toward earning their place above. This is the story of the Vengeful. Many things happen at night. On the rooftops, A thief narrowly escapes their death. Below, others may fall victim to it. In a church somewhere, The spotted deer is sacrificed to the gods. A dragon, slayed, a damsel, saved, and a pair of star-crossed lovers take their life. --A small collection of short stories in the Guildmasters (uni?)verse. These'll mostly be stories that I wanted to put into the original, but am not entirely sure where I can fit them. As a result, they will go here. If I figure out how to slot a story or two in, I'll put them in both places. Enjoy~ -Embershed, the Fallen Star
