RWBY
The Other Side
by Etheriell
Ruby Rose is an up and coming fighter in the underground Mixed Martial Arts arena Roman Torchwick runs, and she's damned good. Draws in the crowds and has even made friends with the other competitors. But what even her friendly co-fighters don't know is she's a struggling homeless kid who doesn't know how to ask for help and is desperately seeking answers about that fateful day from 15 years ago, where she lost everything she ever loved in the Cataclysm. A chance encounter with college student Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, gives her an opportunity to start to move on from her past. But can she escape the demons in her own head, and does she even truly want to escape?
