Until, y’know.” Until you give them to me to open, Aziraphale silently finishes the sentence — and, despite everything, he can feel his lips curving upwards at the corners. He wonders if that could be the reason Crowley said something, knowing that, no matter the impending doom of the present situation, the gentle rush of fondness inevitably accompanying the reference to their little side arrangement was sure to boost Aziraphale’s spirits a bit. Perhaps it lifts Crowley’s mood, too.~ ~ ~That night at Crowley's flat; feelings are felt, tea is made, jars are opened... and hope is found.
