Millennium Prize Problem
by lostariels
There are seven Millennium Prize Problems. Seven. Only one has been solved, and Lena's determined to be the second person to solve one of them, or more specifically, the person to solve the P versus NP problem. A certified maths genius, she's spent ten years working on solving the problem, but to her frustration she hasn't been able to crack it. Taking on a maths fellowship at the National City Institute of Mathematics, Lena begrudging enlists the help of another maths genius to help her solve the problem, but that's only the start of Lena's problems.

Waking Hours

Izuku squints at the menu, written in calligraphy on a chalkboard that spans the entire wall behind the counter. The surrounding walls are black, too — are they all chalkboard surfaces, or is it just for the aesthetic? He frowns. There doesn’t seem to be any descriptions of what the drinks actually are. There aren’t even ingredients listed. “Um, what does the vastness of eternity contain?”“Indeed.” The man — Tokoyami, according to the name tag (where does one get custom script embossed name tags made?) — blinks at him.“Uh.” Izuku swallows. “I mean, the drink? With that…name?”“He won’t tell you.”Izuku jumps and turns around to find another customer waiting in line behind him. His mouth drops open. Even with a disengaged expression, and one eye entirely hidden behind thick bangs swept to one side, this guy is really, really pretty.

Sufficiently Complex Systems
by sabershadowkat
Zoro checked his phone, saw that he'd been assigned to room three. It was Monday night, the third week of the school year, when tutoring officially started. The schedule gave him a name – Sanji Vinsmoke – and noted that he'd taken all three of the hour-long slots. Either a freshman who had skated into acceptance with the bare minimum qualifications or an upperclassman getting a taste of the real work that came after Calculus classes were over.

no one else has ever fit

in which college maths professor Shiro takes a break from teaching after an accident that almost lost him an arm, but in order to keep himself occupied accepts to supervise the maths class for the local community college. He doesn’t expect to find in between his new students Keith, one of the uni’s janitors (incidentally, the one he might have been crushing on for a while, to his TA’s amusement). Then it turns out the guy isn’t just good at maths - he’s actually beyond gifted. Shiro might be over in his head here. (Or: the sort-of-Will-Hunting-inspired AU you probably didn’t know you wanted.)[art by @piyohpan to be found here!]

"Clark cannot risk sending troops in against a league of specially trained assassins. When I told him of the burden a new team member would have to face, he thought only of you. Felicity, I need your help.”“You need a miracle. You needa fighter who can deal heavy hits. You want a vigilante magi, not a mathematician.”*The medieval au nobody asked for because global warming is becoming an extinction level event in 2030 and I need to clean out my google drive while I still can.

Herman Granger
by Duke157
Charles Granger was a learned man, but he was no prodigy – he was just learned enough to recognize that his daughter was one. And he knew that the people of the late 19th century would never recognize it too if they saw her as a woman.

The Three-Body Problem

There's no such thing as being woefully unprepared to teach a class when you're a spark! Or actually, maybe there is. "We forgot the first rule of being a long-lived super-genius," Tarvek growled, and they all recited the words together. "Always get a minion to read the mail first!"
