This was inspired by a post I saw on a "friends having friends backs" article online (embedded at the end of the story), and my immediate thought was that it fit Destiel to a T. Having said that, I didn't mean to write it tonight! Still, strike whilst the iron's hot and all that, and it IS Dean's birthday, after all...This is still only my second published fanfic, and I'm always open to comments.
