The Ice-Breaking Game
by sharkcar
After contracting the Blue Shadow virus, Ahsoka Tano is quarantined in Theed, along with Senator Amidala and Captain Rex. They are three very different people, but they all share a restlessness that leaves them unable to endure their confinement. To pass the time, Padme suggests they play a question game, each telling stories about personal experiences. As all three share a humorous discussion, they learn about compassion and the importance of knowing perspectives different from their own.

Then she adjusted the spectacles up the bridge of her nose. Oh. She really had it bad.'[Or: Luz gets glasses and Amity likes how it looks on her a little too much. It certainly wasn't temptation that brought her to him. It was the opposite of all the power and suction this word promised. Nothing tempted her to look into his eyes, to speak to him and face him there in the dark. If anything, she was tempted to run her dagger through his skin and hurt him, in an attempt to kill him, knowing very well she would never even achieve this ultimate goal.+++After all other attempts to stop the war, Galadriel turns to the only left option: meeting her enemy and once companion full of hope.Galadriel's and Sauron's POV (a version of S2).

When I Look, And I Find, I Still Love You...
by Beatlegirl1968
Author's Note - There has been a lot of chatter on social media platforms about the 2022 Queen+Adam Lambert tour and also about their performance at the Platinum Jubilee. Unfortunately, a lot of it has been negative and somewhat ugly in nature. I prefer not to repeat the content and most of us know what it is.It is disheartening to see the vitriol that goes on regarding this topic. The fact that Brian and Roger are able to continue performing and especially after the forced hiatus of the last 2 years, is a miracle.I think most of us have felt joy in seeing the band back on stage and doing what they do best. Living their best life. Giving their all to the fans. I have been emotional in seeing these elder statements back in action and the smiles on their faces.I listened to them perform live on the 6th and was left quite emotional hearing them sing 'These Are The Days Of Our Lives.' That song has to have so much meaning to them. It also gave me a new meaning and I wrote this little story from Roger's perspective. I would normally save it for Maylor Week next month, but in light of the events in the past week, I thought I would go ahead and share it.
