If Dream strains his ears he swears he can hear their artificial laughter as one of them swats at George’s arm. Dream frowns as irritability builds in his chest. It reaches a straw as George takes a step back from them, Dream easily being able to read the amount of discomfort in his husband’s body language. That’s enough.
