The prophecy of the Delta Rune said that the Underground would go empty, but what if someone is left behind? Not that Frisk's thinking about prophecies. His mind's on the one person he couldn't save. Someone he can't bear to leave. Someone he can't help on his own. But there's one last thing he can try... The story isn't over until the Underground is empty. However, Frisk reveals that the magic gag she had placed on her since before Underground, would never come off, and she just wanted to enjoy the week. Toriel however, has different ideas, going to any lengths to free her.When Sans finds out about Frisk's problem, he understands why Papyrus plans on wooing her (like everyone else in Monster Kingdom.) Whoever Frisk picks, gets freedom to roam around in the human's world. He uses guilt to make Frisk choose Papyrus. Sans wants more than freedom with Papyrus though, he plans on finding what weighs heavy on Frisk's heart.But nothing is what Sans expects, Frisks holds secrets he got wrong, and Papyrus earned more than a ticket to freedom.

It's been about a few years since the eighth human to fall came through the Underground. They definitely left their mark. They spared whenever they could, but in the instances where MERCY wasn't an option, they would panic.They would FIGHT.Toriel, Undyne, Mettaton, Alphys, Asgore. All mysteriously gone in a single night. With a hole in the leadership position, there was a single Monster to step up to the plate: Papyrus. He decreed that humans that fell would be judged based on their puzzle-solving skills, though his brother Sans, to appease the human-wary people who were unwilling to trust so easily, went behind his back to alter the puzzles into death traps.Four humans lost their lives to those puzzles.The fifth, however, didn't.And the Royal Council has decided that Papyrus needs a Queen alongside him to boost the Underground's morale. Oh dear.

The skeleton held open his hand, the purple soul floundered in his palm, caressing his bones and taking in his essence. He pressed his face into it, feeling its warmth against his cheek but the soul itself was cold, only soothed by the glow that surrounded it. It had no other protection from outside forces, no body to call its own, and no name to answer to. This was why soul births were rare and hard, but Papyrus knew what needed to be done in order to save the new born soul.
