Except, instead of being met with the cruel, angry tyrant they remember, they're all hit with the foul, putrid odor of moldy and decaying potatoes. And when their eyes adjust from the harshness of the lava curtain to the otherwise dark cell, all they see is red.Blood. It’s everywhere. Vibrant blood-red splotches cling to the walls, some patches a dark, ugly brown from age.And huddled in the corner of the cell rests Dream. At least, they assume it’s Dream, because the man with wild, terrified eyes, his breaths coming much-too-quickly from debilitating fear, is nothing like the monster that they’re all so familiar with.Despite all the conflicts they’ve had with Dream, they just can’t walk away from this inhumane treatment, especially since Dream has already been in this truly awful cell for over a year. Obi-Wan had screamed like that at Master Qui-Gon’s funeral, when everyone had walked away. (Obi-Wan has PTSD from his time on Melida/Daan. He's triggered during the clone wars and Mace Windu looks after him while Anakin tries to understand why Obi-Wan will let Mace do this, but not him.)
