Project DIVA (Video Games)+1
by Trickster (KAGAMINATOR7000)
Growing up as a theater kid, I spent a lot of time backstage, not with the lights/sound tech, but making and sourcing props/costumes. To this day, I love cosplay (both wearing and making) even though I rarely find time and energy for it.
Around the house, I found cardboard rolls and cereal boxes, pages of blank white paper, and half a box of water-activated glue. The lightbulb popped up above my head; it's been ages since I made something physical, and I realized right away that, with some planning, I will be able to make Trickster's cane.
Now, I don't have a cosplay of him, I'm not planning to get/make one either, but you don't need a reason for creating. If you have an idea and some materials to make it happen, you should just go for it, right? Even if it won't be very useful or turn out how you envisioned, at least you had fun and learned.
I collected pictures of the cane from both PVs and wrote down some notes. I will be doing this over the weekend. Please come with me on this little prop-making journey!
