But sometimes people come into the world who don't belong with their grouping. Who have changed their destinies and have become human when they were meant to remain an animal. These are cast out, shunned if the fact is ever known. Sherlock Holmes doesn't really care for the accepted facts. They aren't important to The Work. John Watson's always been one of the Spiritum animalem, but he's gotten rather good at hiding it. Brought together by one man forgetting to share a name, and kept together by the knowledge that history has begun to repeat itself in new and inventive ways, John and Sherlock try to rekindle an old friendship thought long lost. If only they can accept that they can no longer be simply Watson and Holmes as they once were.
