Lo and behold, the ending in volume 2 gives us Dong-soo the hero, a very alive Woon, and what appears to be a very romantic Dong-soo/Woon scene in a field with a setting sun. Meta and observations about the series and this very different end by me, of course, precede the translation. Please offer comments.
