BotW Link hasn't been dealing well with the realization that all of his friends/allies are long dead, that it's highly unlikely he'll ever be able to defeat Calamity Ganon, as well as the fact that everyone in Hyrule only sees him as 'The Hero' instead of a real person. So, he made a decision to end it by jumping from the top of a Sheikah Tower. After all, Hyrule was doomed anyway so his death wouldn't be of significance, right?This is how Link convinced his past incarnations' turn away from their own suicide attempts. Will he be able to convince himself that he truly matters before it's too late or will he succumb to death's beckoning embrace?
