crashing into love
by sunrisebeanie
Dream felt his heart drop out of his being. It was on the floor now, beside him, slowing with its pumping, crimson spilling over the marbled tile. As they wheeled George through the doors, Dream tried to barge through, hold his hand for the first time despite how he was, and escort him through being cut open, drained, fixed, cut deeper, and sewn back together. And he would be there as he was placed into his own room, cozy (disregarding the overall setting), and Dream would be there. Would he want him there, though, after this?

Whether it’s naivety or an untamed beast snarling and nipping at her feet, she’ll never know. The wilderness and her blend together—unknowing where one begins and the other ends. It carves her into a messenger, a demigod on a dastardly quest to fetch the gods whichever meaningless sacrifice would please them most.Nat’s drowning in her, and Lottie’s singing only grows louder.or,lottie matthews has a crush.

soap rolls his eyes, lightly pushing ghost on the shoulder, “stop with your sweet talking.”“no, i don’t think i will.” the edges of ghost’s eyes crinkle, the smile on his face obvious even though it’s covered. soap wishes he could take a picture every time ghost smiles, it’s such a rare and beautiful sight. but he doesn’t, instead he just commits it to his memory like another piece of the puzzle.soap just shakes his head and leans into ghost, his head resting against the other’s arm. ghost tenses up and wants to lean into the touch at the same time.-fuck it *asexuals your ghost*im ace, i needed to write this because of course i did

sacred sacrifice
by arxnoon
Tommy recounts everything he knows of the fae as he trudges through the forest, bare feet manoeuvring around every leaf and branch stuck in his path. A soft breeze blows by him, brushing his cheeks and sending a chill up his spine. He’s been walking a while, tiredness stirring inside of him, and the weight of the sack on his shoulders starts to feel heavier. It isn’t uncommon for villages to sacrifice children to the fae in return for the promise that no harm shall come to their kind, but Tommy never expected to be one of them. Neither did he expect to be let go with so little fight. Tommy hears something flicker behind him, much like a butterfly's wings. He increases his pace. “Now, now,” a voice croons from behind him. “Where are you running off to, little one?” Tommy freezes. Tommy as a sacrifice, and Wilbur as the fae receiving him.

never trust it if it
by just_some_anon
“It’s just- I said something I probably shouldn’t have, he didn’t want to talk, and things didn’t go the best,” Soap sounds so tired that Alejandro lets it be.“Well, don’t let him drift away, yeah? You’re the only one he’ll listen to about this kind of thing,” Alejandro pats Soap’s shoulder.Soap manages a smile, but it feels bittersweet, “I always do my best, trust me. I don’t think I could stop if I tried.” With that, the conversation falls away like a pebble into a cavern; unreachable and never enough to fill the empty space.--they're in love but it's hard and this is very angstycw: mild gore, major character injury

only by your hands
by sunrisebeanie
“Go on,” Dream shutters, “kill me then.” George leans in, eyes connecting to Dream’s like welded metal. “Is that what you want?” Dream’s eyes glisten. “Only by your hands.” Only by your hands.

"What was wrong with him? Virgil’s life was not bad, by any means. He had a stable job, even if it was not what he wanted to do in the long term, a wonderful boyfriend, and fantastic friends. It didn’t make sense for him to be feeling so… shitty, to put it mildly. Even the most basic of tasks were difficult for him to complete."
