Dulcet
by sodagum (orphan_account)
He’s angry, and too embarrassed to specify at whom. There isn’t even any real need to be, and if he were smooth enough, he could have dished out some bullshit yet still acceptable reply. But instead, he chokes--stammers: “What the fuck?”

by CaffeinatedFlumadiddle
Poseidon keeps getting offerings from Percy’s baby sister. He doesn’t quite know how to feel about this small child vying for his attention…At the very least he would keep Zeus from blowing up whenever her prayers interrupted council meetings. Or Rick Riordan gave us Estelle Blofis and I am thrilled. She's going to get Poseidon to attend family events even if every god on Olympus kills her.

Let Me Know if It Gets Above a Six
by Sundial_at_Night
“Mr. Loki?” asked the Spider cautiously. “Aren’t you—like—a bad guy?” he asked, voice full of only curiosity, as far as Loki could tell. His first thought was, yes. His second thought was no. His third thought was, sometimes? “It varies from moment to moment,” Loki answered honestly, prying his eyes open after they threatened to fall close. “But on a scale of one to ten, where are you at right now?” “Maybe a three?” The Spider-child nodded. “Cool,” he replied. “Let me know if it gets above a six. Or: Five times Peter Parker was there for Loki when it 'got above a six', and one time he wasn’t.

The Fundamentals of Happiness
by SPICYJARVIS
The plain-looking woman at the prescription pick-up desk cocks an eyebrow upon scanning the papers that Shouta hands her. “Midoriya Izuku,” she comments. “He’s the kid who got kidnapped, right? Someone found him in some basement.” Shouta doesn’t like what he sees in her eyes. “Uh huh.” “Huh. Makes sense that they’d lump him with a pro hero,” she intones, her eyes flitting to Hizashi. It sounds like she’s trying to crack some sort of relatable joke, but it falls critically flat. “With a quirk like that… well, I mean...” “--and what are you implicating?" Shouta snaps. Midoriya Izuku has an extremely dangerous quirk and falls under the hands of some extremely dangerous people.Eight years later, he is discovered within the midst of a League of Villains base raid.** NOT ABANDONED — On hiatus while I regain my BNHA mojo! Honeytrap
by Stormysilverfox
“Oh.” Dabi regarded him. “That was because you looked like shit already. Guess I didn’t really want to exploit that. I mean, what’s going on with you anyway? Poor birdie, the Commission is working you into the grou—” “They ordered me to be a honeytrap.” Dabi stilled entirely. He’d asked a rhetorical question, he hadn’t thought that would warrant a response. But from the way Hawks went pale as a ghost, he clearly hadn’t meant to say that. "They what?" Or: The Commission orders Hawks to use a honeytrap technique on Dabi, Dabi finds out and is not happy. Of course, it would’ve been nice to know before he accidentally drugged the Hero with a truth quirk.

Steal My Sunshine
by akaLiashi (Liashi)
“For the record, I totally didn’t send this,” Jason declares, resting his fists judgmentally on his hips and wrinkling the bridge of his nose as he takes in the envelope’s exterior details. “I wouldn’t embarrass myself by printing the address for Wayne Manor in Comic Sans. And I definitely wouldn’t use whatever fresh hell that return address is printed in.” Taking the bagged envelope in hand again, Bruce moves to the Batcomputer and pulls up the folder of fonts on the system. He glances between the envelope and the sample screen for the font he’d already suspected would be a match. But clocking the font name gives him a great deal of pause. “Jokerman,” he finally declares in a growl through clenched teeth. Tim, as it turns out, may not be Jack Drake’s son, but Bruce Wayne’s already got kids he picked out personally. That’s okay though, because Tim’s got a plan for how to deal with this revelation—it’s not like he needs acknowledgement from a second father that doesn’t want him, anyway.
