That morning turned out to be interesting, as well, because there was a drunk guy passed out in one of the seats, and three stops after Derek had gotten on, a police officer came onto the subway and he and the drunk guy had an argument. The train hadn’t left the station yet and the whole system was on hold because of it. Derek would’ve been annoyed, because it was messing with his schedule, but cute subway guy was making up for the delay because he kept making faces at Derek, mimicking the conversation happening. Derek actually laughed a little too loudly at one point, and it had the cop turn to shoot him a scathing look.
