Name-Calling is NOT supposed to suck this badly
by Anonymous
Pearl and Grian both used to be Watchers, the only difference between the two of them being that Grian's departure from the role was a lot more... Explosive, so he became very well-known among those who saw the Watchers as Gods. This turns out to have odd name-based consequences down the line. At least Pearl is there to help?

"I am made of magic, and it demands balance. It is not that it hurt me to leave someone in my debt, without taking payment; it is that I could not do it. In the spring, I started walking again, my feet seeking out my Witcher unerringly and without my input."I got frustrated with the ignoring of True Names in all the fae!Jaskier aus, so, here we are.

Feathers - An Elsewhere
by Runwildwithme (NectarinesAndSourThings)
Your first day enrolled at Elsewhere was a Tuesday. It was nearly five o'clock, the sun was just going down, and you could hear things. You'd turned, wide-eyed, pale-faced, to your RA, Jenna, who had rolled her too-bright eyes and said ‘It's Tuesday,’ and was so entirely unconcerned you had had to believe there was nothing to be concerned about.Spoiler: there are lots of things to be concerned about at Elsewhere U.

Perceive Me as Who I Am
by Aethelflaed
Demons have no internal sense of identity. Crowley is, in many ways, only "Crowley" as long as those around him--and he himself--perceive him that way. He maintains his tenuous grip on his identity through his actions, his speech, his appearance. But in Rome, he meets someone who can tear all that apart. And Aziraphale must find a way to put him back together. -- Cautiously, Aziraphale stuck his head through the door. It appeared to be empty, wooden floor and plaster shredded as if some wild animal had been locked inside. There was blood here and there, and it certainly wasn’t human. Tucked in the corner where the clay roof tiles nearly sloped to the floor, lay a bed, just a pallet stuffed with straw. A dark figure lay upon it, burrowed into so many blankets he almost couldn’t see the shape tremble. “Crowley?” He could sense the demonic energy, though not as powerful as usual. As if it were being hidden. “Are you...quite alright?”

Muse
by Roselightfairy
Reincarnation/Second Singing AU. Modern-day Gimli is a talented sculptor just finishing up the biggest and most unprecedented project of his life – a marble statue of what looks like an elf from some kind of high fantasy novel. He’s never made anything this good before, especially not without a model – but strangely enough, he feels almost like he has seen this image before, as though in a long-ago dream - or even another life . . .

Seven Gifts for Seven Tales
by PitViperOfDoom
The Archivist was silent for a moment. “I led prey to them,” they replied. “I helped them hunt. I asked for a story in return, but they didn’t want to give one, so they brought me to you instead.” He smiled at that, wide and angry in the dark, clenching his teeth until he could imagine the taste of blood. “Did they, now.” --- The storyteller of the Court of Beholding finds a fae imprisoned by the wolves that hold his Name. They return to him seven times.

wedding bands only need
by wisteriaworlds
Tango paused in the middle of his metalworking as he heard footsteps scramble closer and closer to the cavern he tended to occupy, a smile appearing as he registered the familiarity of the sound. He could recognise those footfalls anywhere. "Back in my coal mines again, canary?" He called playfully, taking the time to set his tools down carefully as he allowed himself to fade into visibility. "What's the occasion?" orTango, Haunter of the Caves, one of the Fair Folk, is finally given Jimmy's name. It's nowhere near as malicious as people will assume.

“Well?” Naenia’s shadowy form had completely engulfed him, though Noé hadn’t noticed. “What will it be? Will you let me grant your wish?” Noé took a deep breath. “Please…” A grin spread across her face. “Please help me get him back.” Noé pleaded. Naenia laughed, her claws digging into his skin painfully. The prey had been successfully captured. “Then give me your name!” Naenia’s lips met Noé’s, stealing his first kiss and his name. When Noé doesn't grab Vanitas's hand — when he loses Vanitas — Noé will do anything to get him back.Even give up his True Name and become a curse bearer.

A Vexing Situation
by Silverskye13
Crosspost from Tumblr!Summoning a vex is a complex thing to do. It requires, first of all, some understanding of evoker magic - a magic evokers don't really talk about, much less pass on to players. It also requires the knowledge of a vex's true name. So Cub is reasonably sure, after he cut his ties with the vex and the evokers years ago, evoker magic wouldn't be a problem he'd have to deal with. That is, until Scar and Grian show up on his doorstep, absolutely reeking of the stuff.
