A part of his mind screams at him to leave but he’s already taken that step forward, arms outstretched and ready to help. He doesn’t get very far before cerulean blue eyes snap open and meet his green ones.Izuku stills, standing about a foot away from the man but not moving an inch. A growl echoes through the ally as the scarred man speaks in a voice that tells of cigarettes and bruised vocal cords. Those scars look like old burns though, so maybe burned vocal cords would be a better description?
