O, Then, Dear Saint, Let Lips Do What Hands Do
by letitfillyoursoul
“Maybe we could come out together, one day,” Neil says, and there’s a tenderness in his voice that a more naive person would mistake for love. But not Todd. He’s not stupid. He lets Neil hold his hand for a moment longer, savors the feeling of the other boy’s thumb grazing his knuckles, before removing his hand, and responding in a detached, blase way: “Yeah, maybe.” The five times Todd almost comes out to Neil, and the one time he does.

Can I Borrow Some Sugar
by petersfeather
"H-hi. Okay, this is probably the most cliche thing to ever happen to me but I've just started making a cake because it's my friend's birthday today and my parents took the car out for the day and they won't be back until the night after tomorrow and it's raining hell outside so I can't walk to the nearest grocer and basically what I'm asking is, can I borrow a few cups of sugar?""... Really?""Y-yeah... why are you looking at me like that?"Or the one where Todd Anderson is a shy teen boy who has to ask his beautiful neighbor for just a little bit of sugar.Or a lot a bit of sugar.

what tears me apart
by quartz_forest
Todd could feel his heartbeat in his head. He'd always been sort of outwardly nervous, terrible at hiding it, concealing it, pushing it down. He knew Neil and the others must have noticed and cursed himself for not being more subtle. They didn't seem too bad—a little confrontational for Todd's taste—but not rude, not going out of their way to exclude him. They still made him nervous, though. They knew of Jeffrey's excellence and could see plain as day that Todd was far from being like his brother.-In which Todd gets dragged out of the shadows for the first time in his life and realizes that maybe the daylight isn't all that bad.[Currently being rewritten]
