His eyes turn to All-Might, who is also watching, pride burned into every feature of his beaming face.“Remind you of anyone?” He jibes, and All-Might’s surprised laugh turns into a bloody coughing fit. The thin grin falls off Nighteye’s face as he silently offers a handkerchief.Shoto can only think about the fact that All-Might has finally chosen an apprentice, the year he is to start his, and he cannot think of why. He knows it likely has nothing to do with him- for all his father’s attempts, that rivalry was never more than one sided, and All-Might didn’t seem like one to bring a random kid into this even if it was.On the other hand, Shoto knew heroes were very good at projecting an image, and while he wanted to believe All-Might was better than that… Well, he had been burned before, hadn’t he?

After spending 18 months as Deathstroke's captive, Robin has a talk with Terra. Wally hears a conversation he shouldn't. Dinah’s talked to him about trauma, and how his friend may not ever be the same. And Wally...understands that. Gets it more in Dick’s flat smiles and silences. Gets it in the way that Dick's fighting style shifted, from something like an acrobatic dance to something more forceful and jagged, where he pauses to make sure he doesn't snap someone's neck.  Wally's speed read every book on captivity he could find, has read about Stockholm Syndrome and Lima Syndrome and London Syndrome (why are they all named after places? Why did psychology become geographic potpourri?) but he's never found anything to describe the way Dick and Tara gravitate towards each other, like sunflowers chasing sunlight. It’s hard to tell which is which minute to minute.   Trauma forges a bond, and Tara and Dick will be joined until the day they die.

Of course, given her current place of residence she knows that all rumors are false. Robin’s working for Slade, albeit unhappily. She could speculate on the reasons or she could continue on her day, as uninterested in him as he is in her.  ------even with robin in his grasp, slade's attention turns towards a young geokinetic.
