A few weeks after his fifteenth birthday Armitage Hux met his mother for the first time since he was a toddler, defected from the First Order, and found out he was Force sensitive. It was a little much to take in. Then he was shipped off to Luke Skywalker’s Jedi school so he could learn how to float things (harder than it sounds), not mind trick military officials (it was an accident), and make friends (this one was also an accident). But Hux brought something with him when he left the First Order. Something the Order desperately wants back. And Jedi School has its own set of challenges- not the least of which was Ben Solo himself, and the incredibly unsettling voice in his head.

It’s been almost a year since he, Pierce’s fastest and most powerful enhanced humanoid soldier, broke his programming and escaped Hydra Base 17 with Pierce’s fastest and most powerful fighter ship. Since then he’s made his own modifications to the Valkyrie — and himself — to make it, and him, even faster and more powerful. And he took back his childhood nickname — at least he thinks it was his nickname. A month after his getaway from Pierce and Hydra, a memory of his Ma calling him “Bucky” as she scolded him for ripping his pants had surfaced in Bucky’s mind. Whether it’s real or not, it’s better than being called J-Alpha-133, like some mindless android.
