"You knocked over my cart and ruined all the cabbages I had left. I need to sell those to make a living. I consider myself a kind man, though, so I won't ask for much. Just a little bit of coin will suffice." The man smiled and held out his hand, palm up. He looked at the open hand in front of him and frowned. "I don't have any." He said to the man, shaking his head. He was genuinely sad that he didn't have anything to offer in return, and he hoped the regret at least showed on his face. "I'm sorry." "You don't have any- how do you expect to pay for this? For what you did?" "What I did?" "The damages!" The man's hand was no longer in front of him, instead gesticulating wildly as if that helped demonstrate his point. "To my cart! And my ruined cabbages! How are you going to pay for that?" "I don't know!" The man was practically yelling, so he yelled back. "I said I was sorry! What do you want me to do about it?" "Well, I don't know!" The man snapped back at him, standing back up. "But I suggest you come up with something, because I'm not leaving until you do." Zuko gets amnesia, meets the Cabbage Man, and ends up in his debt.
