Ode to Badboyhalo
by Ranbob (orphan_account)
Bookkeeper’s Foreword: The following transcribed excerpt is from the book “An Anthology of Classical Oral Poetry”, written by the celebrated Classicist and essayist Rina the Wise. This excerpt contains the well-known poem “Ode to Badboyhalo”, that according to folklore and local legend, was composed by the mythical figure of Quackity the Bard. It is to be noted that there is still much confusion and debate surrounding the figures of the so-called “Dream SMP”, and whether they even really existed. Nevertheless, it is a well-known literary classic which has been orally passed down through generation after generation, well-preserved through the memories of our people. Along with the poem, footnotes by Rina the Wise are also included, which provide additional professional historical and literary commentary for the understanding of the reader.

Collected Poetry of 20th
by rachel614 (orphan_account)
Introduction by Professor H. Granger-Black of the American Institute of Magic. January 11th, 2023.The Twentieth Century in Britain began with war on a scale unprecedented in either non-magical or wixen history, and closed with a series of radical social reversals that proved nearly cataclysmic to a society beset by a rising terrorist power and torn between two increasingly volatile ideological factions. In such interesting times, there was much inspiration for poetry, even in the rather hide-bound literary traditions of Wizarding Britain. Yet much of the most poignant verse of the period was written in response to a single event: the revelation that the child who attended Hogwarts from 1991-1995 under the name of Rigel Black was not, in truth, the pureblood Heir of the House of Black, and the RBC's (as they came to be known) subsequent disappearance. This (and the later revelation of her true identity) played a pivotal role in the upheaval of the late 90s, and as such I have chosen to begin this collection with a selection of recovered poems from those who knew Rigel as a student, which I found particularly indicative of the many complex feelings and opinions of her contemporaries...

Poetry records - every prose I've ever written, good bad and ugly
by Achillesinagaypanic
There might be some french works thrown in there - because I'm french - but majority of it will be in english, which is why I chose the English language tag. As there is no continuity between each poem, this work will be marked as finished, but I may add to it through time as I write more poems. Each chapter is a different work, and I hope I can speak to you through these.
