Whether or not you've ever played Arcanum, I suggest searching youtube for the opening cinematic before reading this, to set the mood. It's basically a less-gameplay-centric jaunt through the story using one of the premade characters: female half-orc Clarisse Vorak. I'm trying to make this as realistic as I can without beating anyone over the head with the Idiot Stick, so it won't follow the artificially imposed plot rails of the game exactly, but I've made it accurate to the game wherever I can. Travel time, for example, and characters' skills. Dialogue will be pulled straight from the game for as many events as possible; I figured out how to get into the dialogue files and had way too much fun.

You see da title.. idk this random ass (slight deviations from plot) vibe pieces.The first came to me for Theo when I had this empathetic wondering of how it must feel to sleep the first night with out your mother after she dies(i think about death and the people I care for too much).I just keep rereading it thinking how lovely it is (and tweaking it) but I needed to share it.I feel proud and wanted to share as is. (That’s been my goal this year. To just post/share my works even if they’re not in the perfect place.) Writing this here to remind myself that I plan to do a lil tie together thing from Boris' POV the same way as the second chapter bit that Theo says after I finish my reread through and really get a vibe of how he would narrate his own story/side of things! Before and after life wise, like pre-Theo and post-Theo.
