The Last Argument
by jp2187
Anakin didn’t know how Padmé was arguing with him from beyond the grave, but even after her death they were somehow still managing it. Given everything he had done before leaving Mustafar with her and Obi-Wan, Anakin deserved to die. Although his promise to Padmé that he would take care of their children kept him alive, he certainly didn’t deserve to ever be happy again. As a widower in exile on Tatooine, being crushed by the full weight of his sins, Anakin knew he never would be. Padmé, he sensed, vehemently disagreed. In their last great argument, however, Anakin had the empty consolation of being assured victory . . . until Padmé cheated and reunited Anakin with his long lost padawan. **Written a long time ago, but retagged for ‘Kenobi’ for anyone in need of some reconciled Anakin and Obi-Wan, more grumpy Uncle Owen, and lil Luke and Leia.**

Fortune's Rule
by eniyaelleonne
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, a Senator survived. A Jedi did not forsake society. Two siblings were never separated. Nor were two Commanders. And a Rogue found comrades. The Empire has risen, but the embers of the Republic yet glow in the hearts of the just. The stage is set for rebellion, and both within the Rebel Alliance and outside of it, many fates shall interweave, for the luck of the Disaster Lineage and its associates has ever flowed in a peculiar current. And if that current is stirred, from time to time, by the enterprising Pirate… well, not for nothing has it been said that Fortune rules life.Aka, Padmé lives. The fractured Chaos Clan begins to reunite. Tarkin suffers a raging case of Hondo-induced identity theft. Vader dials the wrong number and ends up connecting to the commlink of a Rebel agent called Revenant. Add in some youngling hijinks, and all of this is slowly building to a massive headache for one Sheev Palpatine.

Sowing the Hardy Seed of Hope
by Cobalt_Djinn
(AU from Mustafar) Obi-Wan has had enough of prophecies and predeterminations. Instead of exiling himself to the deserts of Tatooine, he journeys through the strife-beleaguered galaxy with the ghost of Qui-Gon Jinn. At first he is a distant observer. But soon, he begins encountering young people whose brimming potentials call to the teacher in him. He takes on a padawan, and another, and another. So a younger, gentler generation of Jedi is born in the shadow of the Empire. His padawans do not fight with lightsabers. They do not manipulate minds. But they are Jedi, guardians of justice and peace for the galaxy.Or: Master Kenobi does not need Anakin’s offsprings to build the New Jedi Order. He could do it himself, and do it well.
