In a world of gods and guardians, it would be expected that some would fall for mortals, and inevitable in such cases that demigods would result.Killer and Cross are two such beings, half god and half mortal. With abilities mortals shouldn't have, but also not quite as durable as full deities, they reside somewhere in the middle, and unfortunately certain people would take advantage of that. Without parents around who would protect them, they must fend for themselves as they run to escape the prison they were trapped in, and this was how they ended up inside a tentacled skeleton's mansion without knowing what they were getting into. While the brothers now must figure out who they can trust, Nightmare and his friends have to discover these two teenagers' past before what or whoever they are running from finds and drags them back into their personal hell.Hopefully these two can warm up to the guardians and gods despite what they've been told...

“You want to break up the Star Sanses?” Blue repeated what Dream had said in shock, standing up from his seat suddenly as if he wanted to argue with him, “Dream, this isn’t a good idea! You can’t fight Nightmare alone, he’ll destroy you. There’s too much negativity, you said so yourself yesterday, and it makes you weak..." -----+----- Ink had done it for the last time. Dream couldn’t stand him sacrificing so many people to save the AUs that made up the multiverse, he couldn’t stand Ink making the Star Sanses be seen in such a bad light that Dream was getting sent death threats. So he broke the group up, even with Blue’s protests and Ink’s surprise. The Star Sanses didn’t exist anymore. He wasn’t Ink’s friend anymore. Blue couldn’t multiversal travel anymore, stuck in the Omega Timeline since he couldn’t go back to his AU. Dream didn’t have people to back him up anymore. And with no group seemingly able to stop people who meant harm and protect AUs anymore… There was a spike in destruction and negativity. The negativity was because of Nightmare, but what was destroying harmless AUs? That was what Dream was going to figure out. Who knew he’d meet someone special to him in the process?

Right or wrong?What a twisted concept.Nightmare wasn’t bad, at least not to him. He was just trying to get back at his enemies who betrayed him and kidnapped his child.Dream thought he was good. He thought taking the child had been a smart plan. And Ink didn’t want to come back, he tore out his own soul as punishment for taking the child. Maybe that’s why Nightmare allowed him his child after Nightmare took his love.
