He worked hard for his reputation during the past three years and this year's initiation was supposed to be boring and dull again, the excitement he had felt during his own initation had long gone. That was until she decided to leave her old faction behind and join the warrior faction. She was anything else but boring and predictable and he soon had to admit that he was drawn to the girl from Candor, who showed no fear or respect towards his person and was never shy to counter back. [This OS shows various events of Convergent (chapters 1-9) from Eric's POV, but -I think- it can also be read independently.
