Set in an alternate/parallel timeline, Rogue and Gambit deal with day to day married life while juggling different career paths and raising a child.Created for Rogue/Gambit Fanworks Week 2022, using prompts: Thieves Guild/King and Queen of Thieves (Day 1), Injury/Illness (Day 2), I Can't Believe He/She is your Husband/Wife (Day 3), Coffee Shop (Day 4), Filling in Story/scene gaps between issues (Day 5), Cuddling/Hugging (Day 6), Free Space - Alternate Universe (Day 7)A continuation of the story "Give Us Irene You Cowards" from last year's Rogue/Gambit Fanworks Week 2021. This story runs parallel to the present Krakoa timeline holding all events in that universe to be true unless they were altered or replaced by events of this previous story. It takes place just prior to and after X-Men (2021) #5 for the Day 5 prompt.Considering how little either character has been used recently in canon, it was actually pretty easy to get away with these major change ups. Written to prove babies can work in a superhero comic and satisfy some missing character interactions.The chapters are super short - sorry, it's kinda my thing now apparently!
