Arm Candy

I Heard Your Echo In The Park
by duvet_detectives
“I’m just making sure your head is in this youngling,” and the confusion slips through into his field. Kup hasn’t called him that in countless solar cycles. Kup turns his optics onto Springer, “I’m making sure you ain’t going into this with a bloated processor and a clouded idea of what you’re working with.” Springer stares back into his optics. He inhales slowly before asking, “And what is your diagnosis, captain?” Kup smirks at him, taking the cigar out of his mouth, “All I can see is a mech who has this planned out and seemingly knows what his team is doing. I see you’re prepared, Springer. I wanted you to know that.” Springer feels like his processor is about to fry itself. This whole back and forth has been an appraisal? “I think I may feel proud of you Springer,” Kup smirks as he says it, “and I know your creator would be if he saw you know. You got your head on straight in the face of your first mission in charge and by Primus you’re confident in your squad” -------- aka 3 times Kup almost tells Springer about his creator, and the one-time Springer figures it out himself.

all will be well
by hyperandrogenism
"Dammit!" Kup snarls as the cube slips from his servos again .It's the third time today. Not only are Kup's arthritic servos aching from the cold, but his knees are sore from cleaning up the spilled energon."I can clean it up this time," Springer offers, taking the few steps to Kup's side and softly touching his arm.
